The Bridalveil Fall parking lot and trail are the closest you can get to this waterfall. From the parking lot there is a short 0.5-mile (0.8km) trail that gets steep at the end but fortunately only for few yards (meters). At the end of the trail you are on a little rise, giving you a great view of the 620 ft. (189 meter) waterfall.
As you hike the trail, Bridalveil Creek will be on your left offering many great opportunities to photograph the numerous small cascades and the oaks.
