About this spot
Berwick-upon-Tweed is the most northerly English town with strong links to Scotland. In Elizabethan times a wall was built around the town as a defence against Scottish invasion. The wall still stands and is a pleasant walking route around the town with many photogenic buildings to be seen along the way.
