Caernarfon Castle is a World Heritage Site in Gwynedd. First existing as a motte-and-bailey castle from the late 11th century and later, from the 1280s as a stone structure as it was rebuilt by King Edward I of England. This viewpoint is just across the Seiont, with the river and boats providing a foreground interest as the castle dominates the background.
