About this spot
The spot who is one of my favorite spots for making B / W photos, is located at the Square Louis Aragon on the north-west point (downstream point) of Île Saint-Louis in the 4th arrondissement of Paris.
It’s a simple, entirely paved pedestrian area, decorated with several trees and a few benches and with a typical Parisian style floor lamp at its end.
The Square Louis-Aragon was inaugurated on the occasion of the thirtieth anniversary of the death of Louis Aragon, on March 27, 2012. He was a French poet, novelist and journalist.
This square is located under the windows of the eponymous hero of the novel Aurélien by Louis Aragon.
