About this spot
Brick Lane is a street in the East End of London, in the Borough of Tower Hamlets. It runs from Swanfield Street in Bethnal Green, crosses Bethnal Green Road, enters Shoreditch then Spitalfields and is linked to Whitechapel High Street to the south by the short stretch of ’Osborn Street’. Once this area of East London was associated with poor slums and the scene of the crime for the Jack the Ripper murders but today Brick Lane is extremely popular with London’s edgy and artistic crowd, featuring galleries, restaurants, markets and festivals throughout the year.’
