About this spot
Located in the valley of Ostriconi, between Calvi and St. Florent, Lama is a beautiful medieval village with cobbled streets, a couple of eateries and dramatic scenery.
It is considered one of the most beautiful villages of Corsica and is worth the driving through the narrow road that gets there.
Two architectural styles coexist harmoniously: the Medieval old town with its small houses with roof terraces glued to each other and Tuscan-inspired 18th and 19th century buildings that were the houses of the rich olive oil land owners.
Flowers and plants are installed in many spots giving the place a pleasant look.
