About this spot
The White Springs Ranch Museum is a collection of old farm buildings including two log cabins, a farmhouse, and several outbuildings including a barn. The interior of the ranch house and the log cabins are filled to the brim with historical furniture, photos, books and newspapers, toys, knickknacks, and curios. The shady front yard has a continuously flowing fountain, and an old Ford sedan graces the middle of the pasture in front of the barn.

The White Springs Ranch is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The ranch was established in 1885, when John and Mary Lorang moved to Idaho from Wisconsin and purchased the land. The house is believed to have been built in 1885, but has additions dating to 1890 and 1904.

The museum is open Sundays and Tuesdays from 1 to 5 pm or by appointment (call 208-416-1006).
