About this spot
Pyramid Peak is the high point of a backcountry area located northeast of Indian Henry's Hunting Ground. What makes this area special are the very intimate views of Mt Rainier found along the flanks of the peak. The meadows in this area are rich and full of color. Camping is allowed within the Pyramid Peak Backcountry Area, requiring a permit from the Wilderness Office. This is a popular area for star viewing and night photography.
