The monumental tower built on a hill above Cerje dominates both sides of the border, Slovenia and Italy.
It was built in memory to people who died fighting for Slovenian lands.
In summer there is a cafe which could be nice for sundowners.
There is also a small museum collection and it is possible to climb the tower during opening hours.
