About this spot
Colmers Hill is one of Dorset’s most iconic locations; the conical hill and clutch of scotch pines that were planted during the First World War, rising high above the autumn mists in the valleys below - a photographer’s dream. The hill sits above Symondsbury, two miles outside Bridport, and whilst offering stunning views from the top, should play centre stage in compositions rather than being used as a vantage point.
