Taken during early morning. The key to the Mormon row area is that it can fill up early. Morning is the best time to shoot because of how the sun provides foreground light.

Shot during early morning from the banks of the river. Options are to shoot at the road and along the shorline.

Taken from the road, this provides a different vantage point than by the creek. Water levels can significantly impact the shot. Spring is probably the best time to shoot. The fall has great leaves but when I shot it there was a lot of smoke so I did not get anything out of that trip.

There are three spots at Schwabacher and this is the final one. This is generally the best spot in my opinion. From the parking lot follow the trail for maybe a 1/4 of a mile. The river can significantly change the view. Generally the spring or early summer has had more water than the fall. Ducks will certainly cause the water to ripple so much of the trick to this one is timing with the ducks.

This is the second spot at Schwabacher. The dead trees in this location may provide some additional composition elements. Moose can be seen on the banks if you are lucky. This is fairly close to the beaver damn and there is a bench at this location. Early morning is pretty good for Schwabacher but I tended to go to Mormon Row first and wait until things cleared out. It does take a little while for the sun to start clearing the trees behind you so I found that I did not get many early morning shots. 40 minutes after sunrise seems great for me.
