Baring Falls
In summer, there are many opportunities for wildflower images along the creek. Also, since this area recently experienced a wildfire, fireweed, a tall purple wildflower grows in abundance.

From this overlook along the roadway, there are literally miles of aspen groves between you and the two dominant mountains to the west, Yellow and Chief. Chief Mountain has a unique flat top shape when viewed from the east and is one of the most prominent mountain peaks along the entire Rocky Mountain Front Range.

This small sheltered lake is flanked on the south by Mount Grinnell while Mount Wilbur and Iceberg Peak dominate the skyline to the west. The area is home to a healthy population of moose that favor feeding in the lake's shallow bottom.

This is one of the most magnificent views in Glacier National Park. Not only do you view the park’s namesake, a glacier, but a string of turquoise-colored lakes all the way down the Many Glacier Valley and the prairie to the east.

Red Jammer Buses
Look for these iconic and historic red buses parked in front of the three lodges in the park at East Glacier, Many Glacier and Lake McDonald. Also, many spots along the famed Going to the Sun Road are perfect for including the buses. I like the east side tunnel, the bridge over Swiftcurrent Falls and the St Mary River bridge as favorite spots to wait for the next bus to travel by.
