About this spot
St Michael's Mount at Cornwall is a tidal island that is accessible by foot at low tide. It is connected to the mainland and the Marazion town by a granite causeway. On high tide it is only accessible by boat.

The island is dominated by a medieval castle built on the top. The island also has a small church, a cemetery, tourist facilities and a small harbour.
