About this spot
Pišece is a small village in the southwest part of Slovenia. It used to be known for its watermills. There were seven of them and people from all around, even from Croatia used to come here with their produce.
The St Michael church (cerkev svetega Mihaela v Pišecah) reflects former wealth of the village. Its size seems out of proportions for a small village and its rich interior is a surprise when you enter.
