About this spot
A shopping mall wouldn't normally be top of the list of places to photograph, but if you're a fan of brutalist soviet architecture, this is worth a photo or two as you're passing.
Designed to resemble the peaks of Ararat that tower over the city, this was originally a cinema. It closed during the 1990's after the collapse of the Soviet Union, and today forms part of a newer shopping mall.
