About this spot
Mother of Georgia or Kartlis Deda is a 20m high statue made out of aluminum that was built to commemorate 1500 years of Tbilisi.
In her left hand she holds a bowl of wine to greet those who come as friends, and in her right hand is a sword for those who come as enemies.
