About this spot
Lower Lewis River Falls, at 43 feet high and 200 feet across, is a beautiful cascade across the Lewis River. The left side of the falls, when viewed from downstream, includes a churning trough through which most of the water flows at medium to low river volumes, while the rest of the falls forms a graceful curtain. There are many other waterfalls in the area.
