About this spot
Loch Ard is a peaceful loch located just west of the town of Aberfoyle, close to the Loch Lomond national park.
As the road along the loch is eventually a dead end, it's a fairly quiet spot, and the eastern end of the loch is especially tranquil due to its sheltered nature. Featuring several small jetties and photogenic boat-houses, it's a lovely area to spend time shooting.
