Shoot with care
For Street Photography in Essaouira and Morocco in general, you should respect the privacy of the locals. Many Moroccans don't want to be photographed. They don't like having a camera being pointed at them, so don't do it.

What you can do, if you want to take photographs of locals: Get into a conversation with them first or buy something in their shop. Then you can ask politely, if you may take a photo. An alternative is focussing your photography on capturing the bigger picture and keeping the people in your photos anonymous.

About this spot
Essaouira is a charming coastal city in Morocco, renowned for its well-preserved 18th-century fortifications and vibrant cultural scene. One of its most notable features is the Skala de la Ville, a historic seafront rampart known for its cannon-lined defense walls and stunning ocean views. From this spot there is a nice view of the ramparts which is freely accessible.
