About this spot
The Cascada de Ézaro, or Ézaro Waterfall, is a remarkable natural feature located in Galicia, Spain, near the village of Ézaro, Dumbría. This waterfall is unique because it is the only one in Spain, that flows directly into the Atlantic ocean. The waterfall is formed by the Xallas River, which dramatically cascades down from the mountains, creating a stunning natural spectacle as it descends approximately 40 meters (around 130 feet) before meeting the sea.
